Lissie Moe har hoppet lengde igjen - og denne gangen kan vi gratulere henne med ny flott personlig rekord - 6,02m. Foreløpig vet vi ikke hva vinden var, men et flott resultat er det uansett. Lissie deltok også i tresteg, men i og med at lengde og tresteg var rett etter hverandre, så var ikke trestegresultatet denne gangen noe spesielt å glede seg over. Lissie rapporterer fra Houston, Texas med rundt 32 grader i skyggen og en tre timer lang lengdekonkurranse....rimelig hett!

Jumpers Carry Tulane at Day One of C-USA Track & Field Championships
Lissie Mo Wins Long Jump Title as Wave Holds Third Place
NEW ORLEANS, La. - Lissie Mo led Tulane University to third place after the first day of the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Houston's Yeoman Field House on Friday. The championship concludes on Saturday.
Mo won the long jump, while senior Jillian Green took second and sophomore Marilyn Sauls finished seventh. Tulane's distance-medley relay team also earned third place in the championship. The team of Carlyne Pradieu, Tahira Wiggins, Sheena Garwood and Birka Wicke recorded a time of 12:01.50 to earn six points.
Mo shattered her personal record in the long jump, leaping 18 feet, 10 and three-quarter inches to win the individual championship in the event. The junior's previous best in the long jump was 18 feet, three inches.
"I am so proud of Lissie; this was a huge jump for her," Tulane coach Heather Van Norman said. "She told me that she just left it all on the line and it is amazing what will happen when you believe in yourself and win the mental war."
